Another Church in Preston? Is the Church a Community or a Building?

We love being a church community in Preston. We believe that the church is much more than just a building. When we look in the Bible it’s clear that the Church is a community of people gathered. And those people are not just gathered for the sake of gathering. They don’t just gather in community for the sake of… community! And they don’t gather purely for good causes, whether those be working towards justice in society, or feeding the poor, or growing their knowledge, good as those things are.

The church in the Bible is people gathering to worship and hear from their God. The church in the Bible is a community of people who love Jesus and want to follow him. The church in the Bible is a community on a mission to see Jesus made known in their villages, towns, cities and country. The church in the Bible is the community in whom God dwells by His Holy Spirit, empowered to live new lives for His glory. We love being His church
