Mothers Day!
This is put together to help us as a community to worship separately due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Sorry Mothers, we can’t give out flowers to all the ladies as they arrive at the meeting as we have in the past, sadly! Do please think of ways you can honour the ladies in your life today as we can’t do so as a church as easily, for obvious reasons!
You might be going through this alone or with family or friends you live with. Please observe current Gov guidance. But do try to keep connecting with people. You might not need it. They might.
We intend to Livestream the talk on the Christ Central Facebook Page at 11am (https://tinyurl.com/wqx3ewj).
You could get set up at 10:30, read the scriptures below, pray, sing along and then tune in at 11.
A few notes-
We are trying to think of ways to engage the kids. But it’s early. We’re learning. So don’t expect Andy to keep the little ones riveted for half an hour;-) Let us know if you have ideas.
If you are a father, check out Ephesians 6:4. All parents have a responsibility. But God says that to you.
We’re learning as a community so let’s keep communicating and building one another up, improving things etc.
Love in Christ,
Andy & Ben

Jesus said:
“Pray then like this:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
Matthew 6:9-13 (ESV)

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow
me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Text for the sermon-
19 “Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
Hebrews 10:19-25 (ESV)
