Flood relief appeal: Let's give them a hand

Flood Relief Appeal for Communities in Kendal

This Saturday (12th Dec) 10am- 2pm, Morrisons on Blackpool Road, Preston.

We're collecting donations of cleaning products to send up to people in Cumbria who have been badly effected by the recent flooding. Mops, buckets, disinfectant, anything else you can think of that would help clean up after a river has ripped through your house...

Come along and donate or come and give us a hand, or, both!

As a church we have links with Kings Foodbank in Kendal who are working hard to help people who've had their lives turned upside down by floodwaters. All donations will be put in the back of a van and whisked up the M6 to help people.

This is a great opportunity for us as Christians to express God's love to people. Jesus gave himself up on the cross to help other people, for free, without coercion. This is a chance for us to demonstrate in a really small way something of his sacrifice. No one has to give. We just get to!

Give Andy a call on 07706025712 with any questions!
